» Soldiers march in Toronto Gay Pride parade
For the first time, members of Canada’s Armed Forces represented the military in Toronto’s annual Gay Pride parade, held Sunday.
Lt. Steven Churm, one of 10 soldiers from across the country who marched in uniform, said their presence sends a message that the Canadian military is inclusive and an equal-opportunity employer.
I’m so proud to be Canadian—not only are we equal-opportunity, but we also have the amazingly scrumputous dish of poutine.
I missed the parade! The year I wore yellow fishing waders and a bikini top in the parade was unbearable - pulling those things off your skin in the heat and humidity was painful. We had a drag mermaid up front of our fishing boat float.

Local Suggestions
I have the city to myself tomorrow. What should I do? I’m not totally shopping crazy this trip and have seen/done tourist things a few of times over. Suggestions from the locals on what I should see tomorrow? I’m planning on just letting the city take me wherever…

Something i can relate to…
Good Morning!
After a 2.5 hour wait at the border in Buffalo, a driver switch in Syracuse, a pit stop to pick up some stranded passengers on another Greyhound that had broken down, I am sticky, in need of a shower, and happily fed with breakfast in Manhattan with Ali.
